The Challenge

An industrial operation running vibration shaker screens (Type: CSA114) was experiencing frequent bearing failures in high-vibration screening applications. These failures led to unplanned shutdowns, production losses, and elevated annual maintenance and operating costs.

The Solution

Following a technical evaluation of the operating conditions, the existing bearings were upgraded to 22332CAME4-VS4 (H5), bearings. This bearing solution was selected for its proven performance in heavy vibration, high-load, and continuous operation environments, commonly found in aggregate and mining applications.

The Results

After installation, the shaker screens continued operating reliably and are expected to exceed 15,000 operating hours without failure. The bearing upgrade eliminated unplanned breakdowns and significantly reduced maintenance intervention.

The Impact

Annual operating costs were reduced from approximately EUR 890,000 to EUR 36,000, delivering estimated annual savings of EUR 854,000. The operation benefited from improved equipment reliability, stable production output, and long-term operational efficiency.
